Bio
Canadian-born photographer Zak Bush discovered his passion for photography after an injury kept him out of the water for several months. In search of a creative outlet, he borrowed a camera and began capturing the world around him.
Now based in Los Angeles, with over a decade of experience, Zak has developed a consistent visual language defined by atmosphere, texture, and a deep sensitivity to both place and subject. His work is grounded in a genuine connection with the people and environments he photographs.
Zak previously served as Photography Director at Saturdays NYC and as Senior Content Editor at Outerknown, Kelly Slater’s sustainable fashion brand. In both roles, he contributed to the brands’ creative direction, overseeing high-quality visual storytelling and editorial content.
