Bio

Canadian-born photographer Zak Bush developed his photography after an injury kept him out of the water for several months. In desperate need of a preoccupation, Zak borrowed a camera and began framing the setting around him. Now residing in Los Angeles, Zak continues to capture the texture and feel of his surrounding environment, whether in bustling LA, a nearby beachside town or a far away destination.

Zak has formerly worked as the Photography Director at Saturdays NYC, and Senior Content Editor for Kelly Slater's sustainable fashion brand Outerknown. There he helped to uphold each brands high level of creative marketing, editorial content and imagery.

Other commercial clients include: MEVO, FLEXFIT, GAP, URBAN OUTFITTERS, RAEN, JACK ERWIN, NIXON, BLACKLIST WETSUITS, JAVAS LEHN STUDIO, STUDIO PARADISE, PRIZE PINS, TINY EMPIRE, & WHISTLES UK.
